On February 15, 2023, a meeting of the Commercial Court was held under the chairmanship of judge Dmytro Baranov. The plaintiffs were the Kyiv City State Administration headed by Mayor Vitaly Klychko, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine headed by Oleksandr Tkachenko, and the National Museum of the History of Ukraine headed by Fedir Androschuk. At the meeting, a decision was made to demolish the Volodymyro-Olginsky Church of the Tithe Monastery of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, and to remove the entry on real estate from the State Register of Property Rights.
The Tithe Church was built by the residents of Kyiv with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr the Hero of Ukraine in 2006 on the site of the destroyed first cathedral of Kyivan Rus', the Tithe Cathedral.
Over the course of seventeen years, the Volodymyr-Olgina Church of the Tithe Monastery suffered numerous attacks, threats of physical violence against the parishioners and brothers of the monastery, a planned arson in which almost all the decoration of the church burned down, constant obstacles from the authorities in the registration documents. Volodymyro - Holgyn temple was consecrated twice by His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy consecrated the iconostasis. Thousands of people were baptized and married within the walls of this temple!
Since 996, the Tithe Temple has been rebuilt and destroyed many times, the troops of Prince Andrii Bogolyubsky looted this temple in 1169, the Mongol-Tatars completely destroyed the temple in 1240, the Soviet authorities in the person of the Kyiv City Council in 1936 carried out the same act vandalism by destroying the temple and shooting the clergy of the Tithe temple.All the initiators of the destruction of the Tithe temple in 1936 ended their short lives, after the godless destroyed the temple, their fate was decided tragically.

Lyubchenko Panas Petrovych, Councilor Commissar of the Ukrainian SSR, committed suicide on August 30, 1937;
Ivan Andriyovych Sapov, secretary of the Kyiv City Committee of the CP(b)U, shot on September 2, 1937;
Petrushansky Rafail Romanovych, head of the Kyiv City Council, shot on September 2, 1937.
History is cyclical, as it says (Ecclesiastes 1:9) "There is nothing new under the sun." For every evil deed against God's temples, there will be retribution, if not in this world, then after death you will have to give an answer. We once again appeal to the misguided persecutors of the Church of Christ! Think about it! If you want to enter the history of the destruction of the Tithe Temple together with the army of Andrii Bogolyusky, the Mongol-Tatars, and the bloody executioners of the Soviet regime, then you are gathering coal on your heads, your relatives and friends! Today you are demolishing our temple, tomorrow you will shoot the priests?
